Travis Livermon
Simply put, Travis is one of the most talented young riders in America. His determination and wide range of skills set the stage for a limitless future in the sport. He has been riding and racing since he was nine years old, competing nationally since 13, and now, at 18, has started competing internationally.
This year he was the winner of the junior event at the UCI World Cup Mountain Bike Race in Quebec, Canada. He was also winner of several NORBA national events, culminating with a spot on the US World Championships Team. An accomplished road racer as well, he placed second in the junior event at the 2005 Athens Twilight Criterium and was the 2005 NC/SC Junior Champion in the road race.
Travis demonstrates a lightning quick finish, as well as the toughness be a factor in any race. His goals for next year are to return to the World Championships on the mountain bike and to compete as a top U23 rider on the NRC circuit. The team expects to help Travis toward his goals and to see him actualize a potential that could land him racing Pro in Europe by age 21.
Travis also works part-time at Cycling Spoken’ Here in the sales department and will also be able to assist the team in key equipment choices.
